Graduating seniors share their experience in the Master of Divinity program as part of a 12-week Zoom series called TMS Connect: Family Conversations from Afar. They’ll tell you how God provided for them and their families while in seminary, the highs and lows of life at TMS, and how their training prepared them for gospel ministry. You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with them, ask questions, and connect with our Admissions team in a live Q&A breakout session.

Becoming an International Student at TMS

Join us for a detailed look at the process of becoming an international Master of Divinity student at TMS. You’ll hear from our International Student Coordinator, Admissions Team, international students, and an international alumnus as they discuss how international students overcome common obstacles. They’ll also cover frequently asked questions regarding TOEFL requirements, translated and evaluated transcripts, F1 Visa process and work limitations, and the realities of student life in a foreign country.

  • Nathan Busenitz (Host) serves as the Dean of Faculty and Academic Provost at The Master’s Seminary. He earned his M.Div., Th.M., and Ph.D. in Historical Theology at TMS.
  • Warrick Jubber serves TMS as the Lead Admissions Counselor. He is a current Master of Divinity student from South Africa.  
  • Christine Dixon serves as our International Student Coordinator. She has faithfully cared for our international student body for the last 18 years.
  • Leon Coates graduated with his Bachelor of Theology degree in 2018. He serves his home church, Quennevais Evangelical Church, on the island of Jersey (Channel Islands) in the British Isles.

Financial Planning Workshop

Date: Wednesday, May 27

During this hour-long virtual workshop, you’ll learn how to take advantage of the financial aid and scholarships available to you as a TMS student. We’ll walk you through the process of finding housing and employment, and show you how to maintain a personal or family budget in Los Angeles. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and hear from men who were once in your shoes.

  • Nathan Busenitz (Host) serves as the Dean of Faculty and Academic Provost at The Master’s Seminary. He earned his M.Div., Th.M., and Ph.D. in Historical Theology at TMS.
  • Mark Zhakevich serves as Director of Finance and Associate Professor of New Testament at The Master’s Seminary. He is also an elder at Grace Community Church and a graduate of the M.Div. and Th.M. programs. Mark earned his Ph.D. in New Testament from the University of Edinburgh.
  • Jade Greenfield serves as Chief Development Officer at The Master’s Seminary. He and his wife started seminary with three children and added their fourth child during seminary. He is a graduate of the Master of Divinity program and a member of Grace Community Church.
  • Warrick Jubber serves TMS as the Lead Admissions Counselor. He is a current Master of Divinity student from South Africa. 
  • Ryan Wethern serves as a Financial Aid Counselor at The Master’s University and Seminary. He is a recent Master of Divinity graduate.

You are welcome to invite your elder team/board, as they are helping you with your decision to join the program.
  • Nathan Busenitz serves as the Dean of Faculty and Associate Professor of Theology at The Master’s Seminary. He earned his M.Div., Th.M., and Th.D. in Historical Theology at TMS.
  • Michael Vlach serves as Professor of Theology at The Master’s Seminary. He earned his M.Div. at TMS and his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
  • Jason Beals serves as Professor of Biblical Studies at The Master’s University. He earned his M.Div. and Th.M at TMS and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Systematic Theology.

Producing Preachers: A Conversation with John MacArthur & Austin T. Duncan

Join us this Wednesday to hear Drs. John MacArthur and Austin T. Duncan discuss pastoral training for the care of souls. Learn why the TMS Master of Divinity program is essential for those aspiring to handle God’s Word precisely and shepherd God’s people effectively.

  • John MacArthur is the chancellor emeritus of The Master’s University and Seminary, an author, conference speaker, pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, and featured teacher with the Grace to You media ministry.
  • Austin T. Duncan (Host) serves as Professor of Pastoral Ministries and Director of D.Min. Studies. He is also an elder at Grace Community Church and the pastor of Crossroads, GCC’s college and young adult ministry.

  • Jade Greenfield serves as the Chief Development Officer at The Master’s Seminary. He is a graduate of the Master of Divinity program and a member of Grace Community Church.
  • Michael Mahoney serves as the Administrative Pastor at Grace Community Church. He is a graduate of the Master of Divinity program.
