Dr. James R. Mook is Professor of Theology and Director of Ph.D. studies at The Master’s Seminary. He also serves as the Associate Dean of Faculty, a role which allows him to minister to his fellow professors. Dr. Mook joined the faculty in 2014. Previously, he taught systematic theology for twenty-two years at Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Maryland. Throughout his career, he has regularly taught classes on Bibliology and Theology Proper, among other subjects.
Dr. Mook was raised in a Christian home and came to saving faith at age 10. After first encountering expository preaching in high school, Dr. Mook committed his life to studying and teaching the Word of God. He has been married to his wife Nancy for 36 years. They met in Dallas, Texas, while Dr. Mook was completing his PhD degree.
