Cost-of-Living Scholarships

Housing Scholarship

$4,200 per semester or $8,400 per year

Scholarship provides supplemental monthly income to offset the high cost of rent in Southern California. Students accepted into the M.Div or B.Th. programs may apply. 

Full-Time Residential Scholarship

$155 per unit

A cost-of-living subsidy equaling $155 per unit. Only available for Master of Divinity or Bachelor of Theology students enrolled in more than eleven units.

Richard-Mayhue Honors Scholarship

Full-tuition plus $500 or $1,000 monthly stipend

To enable students to finish seminary without hindrances so that they might faithfully preach Christ to the world, this scholarship provides full-tuition, fees, and a cost-of-living stipend for of $500 per month for single men and $1000 for married men for up to 7 consecutive semesters (3 ½ years).

The MacArthur Trust Scholarship

Full tuition for full-time students

Enables the finest students to receive a premier theological education without having to enter the ministry encumbered by debt.

TMAI Partnership Scholarship

Ranging from $500 to full-tuition and fees

For students connected to TMAI, specifically students, graduates, or current faculty and staff at a TMAI training center.

Church Matching Scholarship

Up to $1,000 per year or $500 each semester

In partnership with an incoming student's local church, this scholarship matches $1 for every $3 contributed by a student's home church.
